You may now return to the first pair of ladders and walk on the ledge to the left jump across the triangular ledge which has two cracks. If you move past him & continue around, you will find a Stonesword Key being guarded by a soldier wielding a spear & tower shield. Take the ladder up and, if you walk to the right, you can find a foot soldier holding a torch on the ledge below next to a ladder. Note there are a couple of paths to choose & items that can be collected ahead. Beware of the soldier on this ledge and take him out carefully.
Jump onto this root and follow it high enough till you can safely jump towards one of the tower's ledges to the left. Continue northeast.Īt the edge of the plateau, you will see a large root protruding from the cliffs towards the tower. On the way, you can find a Teardrop Scarab on a dead tree root protruding out of the ground, kill it to get a Somber Smithing Stone be mindful that this scrab will explode on kill, so dodge out of the way after. To get into the tower, summon Torrent and ride off towards the tower in the northeast from the Dragonbarrow west Site of Grace.
